Shard's Move: Sea Dragon Storm

So for those wondering what Shard's signature move (Farside version of the Sky Knight special move) looks like...here it is!

She does a backflip to gain some space from her opponent, lands in a crouch...and the rest you can see for yourself. However, I was too exhausted/frustrated with the program to do the backflip. So it starts from the crouch.

A couple notes:
This is the first - and probably last - time I have used Flash MX (6.0). I downloaded the 1 month trial version, and fought it every step of the way to get the effects I wanted...or gave up on in the end. I didn't like the inbuilt tutorials and ended up finding a few good ones around DA...but mostly learned by doing (often learning AFTER the fact how to make life easier...)

There are 55 frames with 25 layers per frame, 3 sound effects (sword sharpening, wave crash, and thunder), and 1 button.

I worked on it for roughly 2.5 weeks and 30+ hours.
It is roughly 4.5 seconds long.

Yes, she's naked. o_o If I'd done a stick figure it would have been much MUCH easier. If I'd done clothes/armor I probably would have give up halfway through.

Frame-by-frame animation is for the birds. Even with some of Flash's shortcuts. Flash artists, I salute you! ...and I never want to do this again.
